3D Graphics

The learning goals of the study period (course)
After completing this course, the student is expected to:
• be able to use essential tools, techniques, and principles of 3D modelling assets and environments
• know the basics of creating, shaping, and detailing 3D assets and environments, with hands-on projects in modelling, texturing, and lighting
• be able to create textures in games and understand how they are used in an optimized way for a 3D application
• be able to understand and use the concept of LOD (Level of Detail) to speed up the rendering process.

The student
