Teaching methods

Lectures, tasks and group assignments, production of cosmetics (presence obligatory) and study visits..

Exam schedules

Exam according to the course schedule on Thursday the 11th of January 2024 at 9 am.
Retake is possible Friday 09.02.2024 at 12-16, Friday 08.03.2024 at 12-16 and Friday 03.05.2024 at 12-16.
The diary of product development and manufacturing and the presentation of the final product should be done by February 2024

Completion alternatives

Examination.
Proof of ability to produce cosmetics

Lectures 36 h, diary over product development and production 60 h and self-directed studies 39 h.

Assessment methods and criteria

The course is graded based on the result in the exam (grade 0-5) and diary of product development and manufacturing, as well as the presentation of the final product

Assessment criteria, fail (0)

The student has very poor knowledge of the content in cosmetics and the function of different components in cosmetics.
The diary of product development and manufacturing is is inadequate or missing, the student has not presented the final product.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student has very poor knowledge of the content in cosmetics and the function of different components in cosmetics.
The diary of product development and manufacturing is good, the students presentation of the final product is satisfactory.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student has good knowledge of the content in cosmetics and the function of different components in cosmetics.
The diary of product development and manufacturing is good, the students presentation of the final product is good

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has excellent knowledge of the content in cosmetics and the function of different components in cosmetics.
The diary of product development and manufacturing is excellent, the students presentation of the final product is excellent
