Students are introduced to:
Water and wastewater distribution systems
Wastewater processing
Small scale wastewater treatment
Regulatory requirements in Finland
Wastewater reducing methods
Planning and dimensioning of small scale treatment plants
Dry sanitation
Clean water extraction and quality

The assignments were completed and the student obtained a basic understanding of the course content
