Objective

The Student
- knows what type of pollutional load threatens our water bodies
- knows how and why water bodies are monitored
- is familiar with authorities and other actors conductiong monitoring of aquatic bodies

Content

We will answer the What, Why and How of monitoring of aquatic bodies. We will study different ways of conducting monitoring, who is doing it and under what regulations they operate. The students will apply the theory and do monitoring in different water bodies and visit relevant actors in the region that is doing monitoring

The assignments were completed and the student obtained a basic understanding of the course content
