The student

* knows how to differentiate elementary functions and apply them to standard problems
* Knows how to integrate elementary functions and apply them to standard problems
* is able to formulate and solve more complicated problems mathematically
* knows how to use the mathematical tools dealt with on the course in an innovative manner in solving problems in new situations

Content

- differential calculation (one variable)
- applications with derivatives: differential and optimization problems
-integralkalkyl
- applications with integrals: areas, volumes, arc lengths, centers of gravity, etc. (as needed)
- exercises with Excel and MathCad

The Math Courses Functions and Equations 1 and 2 and Geometry and Vectors or similar knowledge
