Objective

The student:
- Understands and can describe key theories and concepts in performing arts pedagogy.
- Understands the benefits of integrating arts pedagogy into teaching and learning.
- Is able to use art and research to formulate research questions, delimit topics and set development goals within a specific professional pedagogical theme or phenomenon.
- Can communicate, negotiate and implement knowledge from previous research in purposeful development activities in collaboration with external actors.
- Has the practical skills needed to plan, document, report, present and disseminate information about the results of development work according to scientific writing and reporting criteria.
- Reflects critically on art education choices and the complexities of art education.
- Demonstrates independence and commitment in promoting art education development.
