After passing the course the student is expected to:
- be able to define, identify and describe basic concepts in geodetic calculations
- be able to understand basic principles for geodetic calculations
- be able to perform, explain and defend the basic principles of geodetic calculations
- be able to compare and select a method for non-predetermined geodetic calculation data
Content
- calculation of coordinates and release measures with calculator and computer program
- calculation of non-predetermined intersections in flat coordinate systems with calculator and computer programs
- smoothing of polygon trains

The student shall be able to perform basic coordinate calculations and setting out calculations.

The student shall be able to carry out coordinate calculations from different types of intersections in plane coordinate systems.
