After passing the course the student is expected to:
- be able to define, identify and describe basic concepts in real estate technology
- be able to understand basic principles of real estate technology
- be able to explain and defend the basic principles of real estate technology
- be able to critically evaluate the principles of real estate technology

- the history of property formation
- the origin and registration of the real estate
- the property register
- the most common real estate procedures.

- is familiar with basic terminology with respect to land management
- know the history of land management development

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Is familiar with the basics in real estate law and knows the central laws regarding real estate formation act

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Is familiar with the most common legal cadastral surveys
