The student:
- is able to make an offer and draw up a schedule and a contract for a building project and understands their importance with reference to the final outcome and overall economy
- knows the different types of contract that occur within the construction industry in Finland
- knows which agreements are best suited to the contractor versus the client, in terms of the economic and working side, which the agreement with its content binds the different parties.

The educational modules Introduction to Building Techniques, Residential and Public Buildings, Mathematics and the course Introductory Work Safety and Construction Law, or similar knowledge
