Objective

After passing the course the student is expected to:

- be able to describe the design of heating, ventilation and sanitation systems.
- have basic knowledge of how installation systems are selected, designed and dimensioned based on users' demands on indoor climate.
- be able to compare and critically evaluate the operating principles for components used in HVAC technology.
- have an insight into how to make all plumbing systems work well and energy efficiently in collaboration with houses and users as a complex system.

Know about different heating systems.
Know the importance of god ventilation.
Know about the structure of the building automation system and its components.
Know about industry drawings and regulations in the plumbing industry

Understand how different design aspects affect building projects.
Understand how different components affect real conditions.
Is able to choose parameters to improve ventilation with different requirements.
Understand the possibilities of building automation to influence the indoor climate.
Understand the impact of the most important regulations on plumbing technical solutions.

Is able to apply and design water systems.
Is able to apply and design heating systems.
Is able to calculate on different ventilation systems and air ducts and understand the connection between plumbing and economy.
