Objective

The Student:
- has knowledge of and understands the normal course of pregnancy and its significance for the pregnant woman and the fetus
- masters follow-up, recommendations, referrals, and guidance for the pregnant woman and the family according to Finnish national guidelines
- has knowledge of models and networks that support the pregnant woman and the family
- has knowledge of relationships and can support the expectant family
- understands the importance of and can support the pregnant woman and the family in having a positive experience of pregnancy
bases their approach on evidence-based knowledge and understands the importance of multiprofessional collaboration in the care of the pregnant woman and the family
