Objective

The Student:
-has knowledge of the processes that an aging individual undergoes
- knows the factors that contribute to a good quality of life for the elderly
- knows the structure and content of the various forms of care for the elderly
- can take a stand on ethical dilemmas in working with older people
- can apply working methods that support functional capacity and promote self-determination, quality of life and participation

- central legislation, forms of service and current developments
-service guidance for the elderly and their loved ones
- the memory of a lived life
