- The student is expected to demonstrate knowledge of scientific methodology through an examination, including performing a basic statistical analysis.

-The student shall demonstrate knowledge of academic writing through examination. To pass, the rules of academic writing must be followed in a written assignment.

- The student has insufficient knowledge of scientific methods, and cannot perform a basic type of statistical analysis.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
Research methods (4 cr.)
The student has in the examination demonstrated a basic but very weak knowledge of scientific methods. Notable weaknesses are found in the student's understanding and application of statistical concepts, or the statistical analysis is not adequately performed.

The student has in the examination demonstrated a notable knowledge of scientific methods. The student predominantly demonstrates a good understanding of and can apply statistical concepts, and only minor errors are found in the statistical analysis.
