The learning outcome of the course is that the student:
- Has insights into the young man's development and growing conditions in today's society
- Is familiar with various opportunities and risks that young people face
- Know about central theories about youth culture
- Can identify young people's resources, make risk assessments and apply resource-enhancing methods
- Has knowledge of the school counselor's role and tasks
- Can apply central legislation and current governing documents to work with young people
- Have a readiness to work in multi-professional teams and collaborate with guardians

The student has an immerse competence and shows a deeper understanding of the subject in relation to the upcoming profession

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student possesses a basic competence in the subject / The student does not show sufficient competence in the subject
