The learning goals of the study period (course)
After completing this course, the student is expected to:
• be able to recognise important tendencies in painting, and actively follow contemporary developments in painting
• be able to give a summary of the purposes, materials, techniques and tools of painting, as well as occupational safety in theory and practice
• be able to view the field of contemporary art through the lens of painting, and be able to show the results of their own work in public
• present an overview of painting as a phenomenon, its tradition, and current contemporary trends in painting
• make use of methods for visual representation of colour, shape, place and time
