The student:
- has knowledge of school and student health care and knows and understands the importance of national policy documents for the individual’s health care at school and in student health care
- has acquired an in-depth knowledge of health promotion and wellbeing in both school and student environment
- can support, monitor and assess the health and wellbeing of pupils and students in different life situations as well as support their families
- has the skills to observe and intervene at an early stage in problematic situations and refer to continued care elsewhere
- has skills to address difficult questions, prevent mental illness and support the pupil/student with mental illness
- respects the cultural affiliation of the pupil or student
- can work within various networks and teams to support school children, youths and their families
- can make use of digital solutions in encounters with the school children and their families and in encounters in student health care
