The student
- understands what a well-functioning poultry farming requires in terms of animal care, production environment and feeding
- knows about egg and meat production
- can take into account requirements from authorities, intermediaries and processors as well as requests from consumers
- knows how poultry production facilities should be designed taking into account the welfare of the animals
- can optimize a sustainable breeding.
