Studieperiodens (kursens) innehåll

• Design thinking,
• Experimentation culture
• Customer orientation,
• Creativity and teamwork
• Environmental stewardship

The participants learn to recognize their existing strengths in creating new entities. By articulating core competence in a new way and looking at it from new perspectives, it is possible to create completely new sustainable services, products or entities to meet the challenge presented. The workshops offer design thinking methods and ideation tools to support innovation work. The main goals are the development of customer understanding, creativity and teamwork, and the implementation of experiments.

Creativity is a central part of workshop work. In the ideation process, the Teams are guided to present their wildest ideas, without first thinking about their feasibility. This ensures that promising ideas are not shot down too early. The idea is to first provide the background and only then limit the teams' ideas in a controlled manner and with the support of facilitation.

The solutions developed in the workshops are approached from a customer-oriented perspective. The starting point is that the participating teams understand the relationship between supply and demand and its importance. Key questions for the teams are, for example: Why would someone use the service/product? How much is someone willing to pay for the product? What problem does the product/service solve?

The aim of the workshops is for the participants to learn to work as a team and to learn new ways of working from other members of their team. The participant takes others into account and listens to everyone's opinions. The participants work together towards a common goal and bring all their own expertise for the team to utilize.

As part of the development of the solution, the participants are challenged to design a pilot project that will allow them to validate the functionality of their idea. The planning and implementation of the experiments concretize the teams' idea and shed light on what works and what still needs to be developed. The teams thus take clear steps to put the innovations they have developed into practice.
