The aim of the introduction is the ensure that the student is able to successfully work with the studies.

The student:
- is able to use the e-learning platform
- is aware of the characteristics of distance studies
- knows how to submit materials
- knows the principles of academic writing and referencing
- is familiar with different tools for communicating with lecturers

- Moodle
- other on-line application according to lecturer's choice
- Novia library facilities
- Novia procedures and forms (e.g. recognizing previous studies)
- Student Services
- other issues considered important

No pre-requisites

Bedömningskriterier, godkänt/underkänt

Pass - Fail.

Pass after participation or familiarization with material.

Studiematerial och rekommenderad litteratur

The lecturer assigns the material and literature to be used in the course.
Student finds necessary materials for the assignments.
