Objective

The student:
- can describe the structure and properties of the wood
- can describe the main principles for the manufacturing processes in the forest industry
- knows where wood products are used and the wood's carbon footprint in relation to other products for similar uses
- understand the connection between the quality of the raw material and the end products.
