Objective

Student:
- can identify, name the concepts used to describe operational safety
- can calculate key figures that describe how well the maintenance works
- can take into account the operational safety aspects that should be taken into account when procuring new machines
- can create service schedules for machines and equipment
- understands the importance of functional safety-oriented maintenance
- can perform measurement techniques for inspection and condition monitoring
- has in-depth knowledge of how maintenance in various production systems is planned, carried out and evaluated

- Maintenance theory
- Maintenance processes, strategies and maintenance activities for different production systems
- Calculation of maintenance key figures, life cycle costs
- Methods and principles for preventive maintenance
- Functional safety-oriented maintenance
- Methods for inspection and condition monitoring

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

• Be able to perform simple calculations in maintenance technology
• Know the connections between maintenance and operational reliability
• Know different types of maintenance and their benefits

• Be able to perform calculations in operation and maintenance technology
• Be able to draw conclusions about the appropriate type of maintenance based on operational safety requirements
• Be able to plan maintenance and secure repairs

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

• Be able to perform and teach maintenance tasks to operating personnel
• Being able to independently perform advanced calculations on the maintenance system's various departments
• Be able to draw conclusions about whether the maintenance is working based on measurements and data
