Objective

Students know and can use basic concepts whitin law; especially in the area of commercial law and company law. Students understands and can use laws terms that apply in the field. Students can do a conscious choice between company forms, taking legal and business aspects into account.

Student knows basic concepts within law and understands the Finnish legal system.
Student understands the meaning of contract law
Student understands the meaning of obligation law.
Student understands the meaning of consumer law.
Student knows the different company forms and the legal responsibilities in these.

Student understands and can use law terms and can explain the Finnish legal system.
Student understands the content of contract law and can explain it in a context.
Student understands the content and can explain it in a context.
Student understands the content of consumer law and can explain it in a context.
Student can explain the legal differencies between the different company forms.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Student has in-depth knowledge of law terms and the Finnish legal system.

Student can independently apply the content of contract law in a practical situation.
Student can independently apply the content in a practical situation.
Student can independently apply the content of consumer law in a practical situation.
