• is able to organise firefighting drills.
• has knowledge of different types of fires and fire related chemistry.
• has knowledge of firefighting systems.
• gains knowledge of the measures to be taken in case of a fire, including fire affecting the oil system
Content
• Fire-fighting theory
• Advanced Fire Fighting Course for officers is realised according to the course plan of the Fire Training Unit of the Maritime Safety Training Centre. The course takes place at an STCW-audited fire training unit.
