Objective

This course aims to provide students with the opportunity to practice and improve their Swedish language skills through participation in authentic activities and environments. By engaging in various contexts such as nursing homes, schools, and other community settings, participants will have a unique opportunity to apply their language skills in real-life situations.

Target group: The course is designed for students who want to improve their Swedish language skills through practical application in authentic settings.

Objective: Upon completion of the course, participants are expected to have increased their confidence in using Swedish in various contexts and improved their ability to communicate effectively in real-life situations.

This course offers an exciting opportunity to integrate language training into authentic and meaningful contexts while also contributing to society in various ways.

Content

Interaction with the Elderly: Participants will visit nursing homes to take part in activities such as Bingo, chair exercise, and other social events. This provides them with the opportunity to communicate with elderly people in Swedish while contributing to their well-being.

School Visits for First Aid: By visiting schools, participants will have the opportunity to teach basic first aid to pupils in Swedish. This not only gives them the chance to practice the language in an educational setting but also to share important knowledge with others.

Practical Language Use: In addition to planned activities, participants will be encouraged to use Swedish in everyday situations throughout the course, such as ordering food at restaurants, shopping at stores, or interacting with locals.
