Objective

The student will
- obtain knowledge of the specific prerequisites related to caring for family-centrerad care
- obtain knowledge of specific health risks related to children and adolescents and prepare to guide the child, adolescent and family in their decisions regarding health-promotion
- master advanced drug therapy for children
- can in simulated situations identify and analyze care needs of pediatric patients
- have basic knowledge in different theories about human development from age 0 - 20 years and about the personal development of the adult and the elderly
