Objective
Student:
- has knowledge of the diseases that are prevented by vaccination both nationally and internationally
- has knowledge of the composition of the vaccines, benefits of vaccinations and vaccination side effects
- has knowledge of the national vaccination program in Finland and its legislation
- has knowledge of vaccination of different groups
- has skills in counselling and preparation for vaccination, knowledge of vaccination techniques and measures after vaccination
- has knowledge of preventive care and treatment of the most common national and global infectious diseases
- is aware of the epidemiology of infectious diseases
