Objective

Student:
- has knowledge of the most common musculoskeletal-, neurological-, hematological-, and sensory disorders as well as their underlying pathophysiology and treatment
- can describe the anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal system, nervous system and sensory organs
- has evidence-based knowledge of the characteristics of the medical and surgical patient
- can apply evidence-based clinical practice and critical thinking in musculoskeletal, neurological, hematological, and sensory disorders
- can carry out structured care planning and documentation in accordance with national directives
- has the ability to assess the need for care in patients through adequate clinical and physiological assessments, and can prioritize and document these according to national classification systems
- understands the importance of health promotion and preventive care, as well as rehabilitation in relation to musculoskeletal, neurological, hematological disorders , and the disorders of the sensory organs
- can integrate health-promoting care in musculoskeletal, neurological, hematological disorders and disorders of the sensory organs, and further more support and guide the patient and relatives in self-care
