Objective
The student:
- has knowledge of, is able to account for and assess the different stages of the care process for a perioperative patient, as well as apply evidence-based knowledge of the most common diseases that require surgical care.
- can understand the meaning and integrate a systematic and aseptic way of working
- have knowledge of technical equipment and apparatus used in perioperative care
- has knowledge of the importance of care documentation in perioperative care.
- has knowledge and can account for the medical terminology and drug treatment in perioperative care
- can in simulated situations identify, plan, implement and evaluate care needs in patients with surgical conditions and master the most central measures and methods of care in perioperative care
