The student:
- is familiar with concepts related to culture, health and nursing and Nordic Well Fare
- can recognize phenomena like racism and xenophobia, and understand how they can affect good nursing care
- is aware of cultural safety, cultural blindness and cultural imposition and be able to apply that knowledge to the nursing process
- has knowledge about trends in global health
- recognizes the organizations working for global issues in health care
- understands the challenges of working in difficult areas
- has knowledge about nursing care and understands the nurses role in crises and during disasters
- has insight about humanitarian aid in the world
- has insight in the nursing care in disaster areas

Criteria for evaluation of assignment individually or in groups:
The student has followed the instructions for the assignment and shows that she/he has mastered the substance. She/he have read the other participants' assignments and can ask relevant questions and can lead a discussion at the seminar. The assignment and the possible opponentship show something out of the ordinary (technical execution, oral presentation, mature reflections, independent working methods)
