Objective

The student
- can identify risks and resources in relation to addictive disorder
- has knowledge of the legislation in substance abuse care and can guide in the substance abuse care service system
- can apply resource-enhancing methods to individuals, families and groups
- is able to reflect critically on ethical aspects in relation to addictive disorder and substance abuse clients

- Turning points, motivation and social networks as a resource for change management
- National and global trends
- Substance abuse care legislation and forms of service
- Co-dependency
