Objective
The student:
- can conduct literature search and identify relevant literature from quality assured and peer reviewed sources
- knows how to work according to the scientific methods of relevance for the field
- is able to in detail plan a scientific study
- is able to conduct statistical analyses targeting the research questions, and to present research findings
- is familiar with the fundamentals of scientific writing and is able to write scientific texts

Teaching methods
A number of completed personal assignments (on literature search, statistical analysis, fundamentals of scientific writing) testing the familiarity with the course goals. Grade given on basis of quality of completed assignments.

50-60% or 60-70% of the maximum number of credits in the assignments earned, respectively.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
70-80% or 80-90% of the maximum number of credits in the assignments earned, respectively.

90-100% of the maximum number of credits in the assignments earned.
