Objective

• The students have knowledge about theory of shapes as the basis of style consultation
• The students have knowledge about body shapes from a body positivity perspective
• The students have knowledge about woman´s and men´s underwear
• The students have ability to carry out analysis and plans within style consultation
• The students are familiar with the fashion and trends for the season
• The students are familiar with different shapes on clothing
• The students can choose suitable clothing for the client
• The students are familiar with basic clothing styles
• The students are familiar with different accessories and can use them
• The students can create a suitable and sustainable basic wardrobe for the client
• The students have ability to analyze, plan and create entire looks for the client
• The students can apply, analyze and develop looks and an approach that promotes economical, ecological and social sustainability for clothing and accessories, body image, consumtion, fashion and trends for the season, basic wardrobe and looks

Teaching methods

Lectures, practical assignments, moodboards, workshops, portfolio, demonstrations, narrative method, discussion and study visit

Exam schedules

Examination consists of submitted assignments/portfolio. Deadline is in February/March 2023

The course is evaluated based on grades (0-5) for assignments (individual and pair/team). The average of the grades for assignments form the final grade in the course.
