Knows basic concepts in building physics and building technology
Can use tools to calculate energy losses and draw connections between components
Understands moisture migration and the importance of heat flow in different building components and materials
Knows basic requirements for energy efficiency
Able to analyze and evaluate structural solutions for moisture risks

Basic structures for floors, walls and ceilings and for various materials
Instructions for construction engineering

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Can draw up simple structural connections. Can calculate U-values ​​with computer and know the calculation method according to the building regulations, and can check the effect of moisture migration, and know different types of measuring instruments.

Knows some moisture mechanics, material properties for the most common insulation, board and waterproofing materials. Know the basics of energy calculation and the importance of moisture migration for different building technology solutions.

Understands how moisture and heat migrate through the most common types of floor, wall and floor types and their structure, as well as where the biggest weaknesses are

Can draw the most common structural connections. Can calculate U-values ​​with computer according to the building regulations, and can control the effect of moisture migration, and understands on common measuring instruments.
