Objective
After completing the course, the student knows the a 3D sizing software, basics of TEKLA modeling and can also create drawings and lists.
Content
The basics of TEKLA modeling for steel and concrete structures
Structural and load modeling in the current (2D) / 3D sizing software
Evaluation scale
H-5
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Can with current software and its central functions model the frame of a building and produce the necessary drawings from the model
Can produce all necessary cutting forces, displacements and diagrams for a frame consisting of pillars and trusses, so that the pillar and trusses can be dimensioned, with a 3D software for statics.
Can dimension a 3D building frame in current material according to Eurocode, with minor errors.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Can accurately model and manipulate all the components, as well as make custom joints in the model and can also make all necessary software settings for a new project. Can take out of common material lists and other central documents from the model.
Can produce all necessary cutting forces, displacements and diagrams and make a structured whole of the information, with a 3D software for statics.
Can properly dimension and optimize a 3d building frame in current material according to Eurocode.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Master the software, its settings and can manipulate drawings and their settings
Can produce the cutting forces for structural elements included in the frame, with a 3D software for statics.
Can explain a common way to stabilize a building of each of the construction materials wood, steel and concrete.
