Objective
• The students are able to apply their knowledge, carry out skin analysis and plan as well as carry out basic treatments
• The students are able to use some movements for massage and are able to carry out some massage techniques
• The students are able to use simple instruments within skin care
• The students can recommend care treatments for the customer and give advice on self-treatment
• The students are able to do manicure and paraffin-bath for the hands
• The students have knowledge about the aseptic techniques in skin care
• The students understand the importance of and follow a good industrial hygiene
• The students can apply, analyze and develop an approach that promotes sustainable development
• The students can evaluate their work

Assessment methods and criteria
The course is evaluated based on grades (0-5) for assignments (individual and team). The average of the grades for assignments form the final grade in the course. The student´s activity during the course and during the team project can raise or bring down the final grade.
