Objective

The student
- knows about different arable lands that occur in the Nordic countries
- knows different tillage methods
- understands the cultivation characteristics of the arable land and can adapt the cultivation measures based on different soil types

Agriculture's soil taxonomy
Land use properties (cultivation, erosion, nutrient losses)
Principal soil-related conditions and goals for spring and autumn cultivation in agriculture
Traditional tillage, reduced tillage and direct sowing
