Objective

The student:
- understands international governance and marine planning policy and legislation
- is able to work with stakeholders and participatory methods
- can define and analyze interactions between human activities and ecosystems
- knows the planning process and has executed a marine planning exercise

- introduction to the processes, workflows and methods used in Marine/maritime Spatial Planning
- important stakeholders,
- important ecosystem components
- important human pressures
- MSP case studies
