Objective

The student:
- is familiar with the principles of the function and placing of HEPAC and contructions in order to take them into account in structural design, building and work management to achieve healthy houses with good indoor climate
- understands the factors indoor climate consists of and their impact on health, productivity and experience
- can make estimates of thermal comfort, air quality and indoor acoustics
- knows standards and classification methods in indoor climate
- understands the common measures for deficiencies in indoor climate
- understands the importance of construction and HVAC technology for indoor climate and healthy houses at a general level

Content

- the foundations of a good indoor climate and healthy house
- typical problems and measures for indoor climate
- calculations of thermal comfort air quality and indoor acoustics
- standards and classifications in indoor climate
- knowledge about risk constructions that can affect the indoor climate in houses from different decades as well as the most common ways to fix these constructions
