Objective

After passing the course the student is expected to:
- know the techniques and components used in HVAC.
- Understand the documentation and know the names used in HVAC drawings.
- have basic knowledge of how installation systems are selected, designed and dimensioned based on users' demands on indoor climate.

Know about different water systems in buildings
Know about the design of different heating systems
Know the importance of ventilation
Know about the structure of the real estate automation system and its components
Know about industry drawings and regulations in HVAC

Understand how different design aspects affect design
Understand how different components affect real conditions
Be able to choose parameters to improve ventilation with different requirements
Understand the possibilities of real estate automation to influence the indoor climate
Understand the impact of the most important regulations on HVAC solutions

Be able to apply and design water systems
Be able to apply and design heating systems
Be able to design ventilation systems and air ducts and understand the connection between HVAC and economy
Be able to plan real estate automation systems
