Objective

Upon completion of the course, the student should be familiar with the main aspects of occupational safety legislation and be able to use support materials available on the websites of different actors (e.g. TTK, TTL, worker protection)

Content

Review of the main points of the labour protection legislation and the support material
Found on different actors (TTK, TTL, worker protection. Fi)) websites. Implementation and
Evaluation of risk mapping.

Lectures and group work

Employer connections

The course includes group work with benchmarking in the group chosen by the group

Exam schedules

Tent after completion of lecture and before the benchmarking assignments begin.
At the end of the course, the benchmarking information is presented orally and in written report form

Student workload

Active participation in the lectures and execution of group assignment

Content scheduling

The first part of the course contains traditional lectures and the second part work in group according to own chosen time schedule

-Know the main basics of how worker protection is built up and implemented

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Be able to carry out risk mapping independently or in groups and be able to use support literature as justification for proposed improvement measures

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Be able to comprehensively and critically describe how the worker protection is built up and
Risk mapping is carried out in a company.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

-Tent (s) should be completed with approved ratings.
-Work should demonstrate sufficient basic knowledge of the subject.
-Sufficient and active participation in the course.

- Result in tent failed
- Not participated in all parts of the group work.
