Objective

After completing the course, the student should know the most basic factors that should be known when planning and operating a workshop in a garage.

Content

Current consumer legislation as well as factors to consider when planning and running a workshop business such as property planning, financial factors and HR issues.

One to two exams during the course. The re-examination can be performed during the spring semester in connection with a general re-examination opportunity

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Can report satisfactorily on issues related to consumer legislation, property and business planning, finance and HR data in a car repair shop.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Master consumer legislation so that current case information can be resolved correctly. Have a good understanding of the business and the economy within the car house and can solve HR tasks.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Can develop questions about the workshop's activities based on the main areas previously mentioned in the content.

Exams and group work as well as attendance at lessons are assessed.

- Less than 30% of the maximum score in exams

Can satisfactorily report on issues concerning consumer legislation, HR issues and finances in a car workshop

Masters consumer legislation so that current case information can be solved correctly.
Have a good understanding of the economics of a garage can solve HR tasks

Can develop questions about the workshop's operations according to areas previously mentioned
