Objective

The student:

Is familiar with the regional, national and international collaboration in crisis and disaster situations

Is able to, as part of an interprofessional team, assess the need for care, plan, perform and document emergency care

Has expertise in care in various service system

Can meet, support and mentor the critically ill patient and relatives

Masters medication management in emergency care

Deepens his/her knowledge of psychosocial support in crisis situations

Can start immediate rescue operations independently and act in emergency situations

Masters the basics of radiation protection

Content

Patient care in emergency care situations in an interprofessional team and befitting medication management and medication calculation

Psychosocial support in various crisis situations and application of evidence based working methods in emergency care and in different service environments

Regional, national and international cooperation in crisis and disaster situations

Assessment of the situation and rescue operations in crisis and disaster situations

The basics of radiation physics, radiation biology, radiation protection legislation, radiation safety measures in the workplace and medical use of radiation

Radiationsafety: first lesson on-line, schedule. The other lectures are recorded.
