Objective
The student
-can plan, implement, evaluate and document the client’s/patient’s care in maternal health care during pregnancy and puerperium
-can plan, implement, evaluate and document the client’s/patient’s care in child health care
-can identify the client’s resources and health barriers and support the health of the pregnant woman, the expectant family and the family with children
-can provide family-centered care in the support of the family
-respects the cultural affiliation of the client/patient and the family
-has insight into multiprofessional work and can form networks to promote health and wellbeing in the pregnant, the expectant family and the family with children
-acquires insights into family planning
-masters safe drug therapy management and vaccination programmes within the field of child health care
