Objective
The student:
- knows basic concepts and quantities in heat transfer
- can calculate heat losses through walls and pipes with insulation
- can dimension heat exchangers
Content
- the basics of heat transfer in form of conduction, convection and heat radiation
- conduction through walls and pipes
- dimensioning and analysis of heat exchangers
