Objective
The student:
- is familiar with the tasks and responsibilities (including work safety) of a construction manager as a supervisor of demanding construction projects
- has a realistic picture of the tasks of a construction manager as a supervisor of demanding construction projects, based on basic theoretical knowledge and practical experience of tasks on a larger building site
- can draw up an exact timetable for a high-rise project based on contract documents so that it takes place in a sustainable way both in terms of occupational safety and the environmental aspects of construction and building materials
- is familiar with the inspection procedure from A to Z both in high-rise and detached house building
- has a strong knowledge of the safety regulations for construction work
- knows the safety regulations regarding the use of construction machinery's
- is aware of the supervisor's responsibility for his employees and third person (applies especially to sanitation of buildings containing asbestos, fungi and microbes)
- knows what good leadership requires and means, ie how to lead different employees individually as individuals and as a work community to keep timetables, quality, work safety and finances for the entire project
