Objective

After passing the course, the student is expected to:
- have broad technical competence to be able to handle and optimize safe operation with regard to both economy and sustainability.
- have knowledge and skills as comprehensive electrical and automation technology in an operation and maintenance perspective
- Be able to use theoretical knowledge and translate this into practice through laboratory work and other exercises.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Knows basic theory on which the different labs are based.

Can perform simpler laboratory tasks with the help of instructions.

Can work in a group.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Can:
- apply knowledge from previous courses when the laboratory exercises are performed.
- use the more advanced measuring instruments in the laboratory.
- calculate and simulate m.h.a. instructions.

Takes responsibility for schedules and plans for test runs.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Can:
- Further develop and discuss based on the theory in previous courses.
- independently plan and motivate test and measurement methods.
- independently use simulation tools and optimize models.
- distribute the work within the group and report on the results.
