Objective

The aim of this course is to give the participants the theoretical background on the carbon footprint measurements. The participants will be introduced to tools available to calculate the emissions of businesses based on internationally accepted standards, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol.

Knows the relationship between climate change and human actions
On request, can analyze an existing climate change trends
Knows some of the area's central concepts
Can participate in a discussion about CO2 calculations and climate change

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

Can make a plan for CO2 calculations to be implemented
Can independently analyze and improve a premade calculations
Understand how the interrelationship between Green Gas Emissions and climate change
Can hold a presentation about CO2 calculations

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Can argue for and against different impact assessment of CO2 calculations and interpretations
Can evaluate and propose improvements for a plan
Can propose improvements in sustainability goals that can affect the company's commitment
Describe and explain the role and impact of proper CO2 calculation methods to third parties
