Objective

After passing the course the student is expected to:
- be able to define, identify and describe basic concepts in equalization calculations
- be able to understand basic principles for equalization calculations
- be able to perform equalization calculations and explain and defend the basic principles for equalization calculations
- be able to compare and critically evaluate approaches to equalization calculations
- be able to simulate calculations and analyze the results using statistical methods

Content

- identification of overdetermined measurement problems
- equalization of overdetermined measurement problems with the least squares method
- simulation of measurement technology problems
- analysis of measurement results with statistical methods

The student shall be able to solve survey problems with Least Square Adjustment

The student shall be able to solve survey problems with Least Square Adjustment and to analyze the result with statistical methods

The student shall be able to simulate precision for planned measurements.
