The student
- knows the plant parasitic nematodes, the harmful insects and the viruses that occur in field crop cultivation in Finland and knows their life cycles and methods of dissemination
- can take preventive measures and assess the threshold for regulatory measures
- can plan and carry out direct plant protection measures
