Objective

The student
- knows the background to and developments in forest nature conservation
- can identify habitats of special importance according to the Forest Act
- can identify the forested protected habitat types of the Nature Conservation Act and other habitats that are important for biodiversity
- can describe methods for securing the biodiversity in commercial forests
- knows the approach to the consideration of endangered species
- can identify permanent archaeological remains in forests
